The framework of the European Capital of Culture celebrations in Wrocław are three big projects: Bridge Builders, Spirits of Wrocław, Flow. The program gives opportunity to see, touch and get involved in the most interesting current cultural activities.
Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most attractive Polish cities, situated on the Oder River with 12 islands and 112 bridges including the Grunwald Bridge built in 1910, which used to be the longest suspension bridge in Europe.
Singing Europe 2016 is a meeting of several dozen choirs from across different countries and presentation of great works of opera, oratorio and a capella programs in cooperation with experienced and recognized artists. The participants of the final edition will be young amateur singers, as well as the stars of the world music scene.

On arrival visit to the Church of Peace in Swidnica, which is on the UNESCO list since 2001. The Churches of Peace, the largest timber framed religious buildings in Europe, were built in the former Silesia in the mid-17th century, amid the religious strife that followed the Peace of Westphalia. Concert in the interiors of the Church. In the afternoon visit Ksiaz Castle one of the biggest [400 rooms!] and the most impressive castle beautifully located on the hill and surrounded by lush woods. Later “knight style dinner” and return to Wroclaw.

The gem of Baroque is Leopoldinum Hall at the University building which houses the statues of Habsburg emperors, paintings and frescoes.
