The framework of the European Capital of Culture celebrations in Wrocław are three big projects: Bridge Builders, Spirits of Wrocław, Flow. The program gives opportunity to see, touch and get involved in the most interesting current cultural activities.

Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most attractive Polish cities, situated on the Oder River with 12 islands and 112 bridges including the Grunwald Bridge built in 1910, which used to be the longest suspension bridge in Europe.

Singing Europe, special tailor made program for choirs

Singing Europe 2016 is a meeting of several dozen choirs from across different countries and presentation of great works of opera, oratorio and a capella programs in cooperation with experienced and recognized artists. The participants of the final edition will be young amateur singers, as well as the stars of the world music scene.

City break suggested program

Day 1. Friday

Arrival to Wroclaw for evening river cruise with the glass of sparking wine to see the city from unusual side. Welcome dinner at one of the best restaurants and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Saturday

After breakfast we will start city sightseeing. Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most attractive Polish cities, situated on the Oder River with 12 islands and 112 bridges. The town is rich in remarkable works of art and architecture. The unique atmosphere of the city results from the turbulent history including the recent years. The heart of the city is Rynek Square with the exposing Late Gothic town hall which ranks among the finest town halls in Europe. The town hall boasts a richly ornamented facade and an astronomical clock from 1580. The town hall interiors are well preserved and worth visiting. The gem of Baroque is Leopoldinum Hall at the University building which houses the statues of Habsburg emperors, paintings and frescoes. On the other side of the Oder River there is a former island of Ostrow Tumski – the oldest part of the town and the heart of religious life. Afternoon free and in the evening we invite you to Opera House for one of their spectacular event.

Day 3. Sunday

After breakfast we will see one of the most interesting museums in Wroclaw is Museum of Architecture situated in the former Bernardine church and Monastery. Another attraction is the Panorama of Raclawice – the rotunda purpose-built to display one painting which can be admired from the special lift inside. One of the most extraordinary building is Hala Ludowa “People`s Hall” [1913], which constitutes one of the first and finest examples of a fascination with the reinforced concrete in the European architecture. Afternoon free and in the evening concert in modern building of National Forum of Music. Farewell dinner at one of the best restaurant.

Day 4. Monday

Transfer to the airport.
